Urgent Help Needed: Foster and Support for Tank and Coco

This morning, our kennel tech found two frightened dogs in crates at our HQ door. Their owner, John, recently became unhoused and left a heartfelt note. He had no choice but to leave Tank, a 6-month-old pit bull, and Coco, a 3-year-old chihuahua, with us, hoping for a better life for his beloved pets. John's love for Tank and Coco is unwavering, and he desperately wants to reunite with them once he's back on his feet.

The Love Pit’s iStayhome program, launched in 2024, aims to keep pets with their owners by providing financial assistance, vet visits, temporary fostering, training support, and supplies. Tank and Coco need 60-day temporary foster homes. Both are dog, cat, and kid-friendly, and crate trained. They can be fostered together or separately. We provide all food, preventatives, and supplies. We are also getting Tank and Coco fully vetted and updated on all shots. Additionally, we want to support John with a pet deposit once he finds housing. Pets are family, and sometimes families need a little help.
