Did you know that there are over 12 million babies born and are in the NICU each year.

That is a lot of babies that need our help! But we can do it one baby at a time!

But we need your help!

The Funding Project's mission is to provide guidance, inspiration, and education about fundraising to those with infants in the NICU or children with disabilities, autism, or cancer.

Our goal is to get a Fundraising Care Pack to every parent in the NICU in this country.

Families with children impacted by these challenges need funds for products, equipment, services, and therapies not covered by insurance. We provide the information they need through easy-to-understand guidebooks that both teach them a simple, structured method of fundraising and contain comprehensive lists of giving foundations and agencies with charitable missions that match their needs. This approach has successfully generated much-needed resources for parents, caregivers, and compassionate healthcare providers.

Our goal is to equip parents with infants in the NICU or who continue to face challenges following their NICU stay with a copy of our book, NICU: Financial Hope through the Gift of Giving. This will give them the resources and education they need as they encounter care-related financial challenges. We aim to ensure that every NICU parent leaves the hospital with a "NICU Fundraising Care Pack,” a tote bag containing the book and other helpful items.

For every $50.00 donated you will be entered into a drawing for a 4 Moms Mamaroo Baby Swing, generously donated by 4 Moms. So if you donate 200.00 you will be entered 4 times. There will be a weekly drawing of a baby product until we reach our goal.

I will be sharing some of the stories from the Voices From the NICU chapter in the next post and this week I want to share pictures of Jaxon. He was born and was in the NICU at Ann and Robert Lurie Childrne's Hospital in Chicago. He was in the NICU for 3 years! Can you imagine what those medical bills were. It is families like this that need our help!
