Who Is See Learn Succeed?

See Learn Succeed is a non-profit organization created to raise awareness about vision therapy and support children who can't afford the life-changing treatments vision therapy offers. 40% of the US population could benefit from vision therapy, but treatments are only covered by insurance in two states, leaving many people unable to afford life-changing care. Our goal is to create a nationwide awareness for and access to treatment, starting with Dr. Charles Shidlofsky at Neuro-Vision Associates of North Texas, located in Plano Legacy.

What Is Vision Therapy?

Vision therapy is a term to describe a set of non-surgical treatments to improve how the brain and the eyes connect. Over several weeks, patients undergo exercises and treatments to align vision, coordinate sight and help overall visual acuity. Quality of life for patients is also improved dramatically post-treatment, with children usually seeing a significant improvement in grades, social skills and sports performance.

Where Do My Donations Go?

Your donations to See Learn Succeed contribute directly to patient support and creating opportunities for awareness in North Texas. See Learn Succeed's grant program supports treatment plans and supplies for patients, as well as fundraisers, community events and education opportunities.
