In order to effectively and efficiently operate our programs, we need to invest in improving our facility. We are requesting your assistance in covering the costs of materials, labor, and equipment. Without adequate financial resources, we run the risk of compromising the safety, functionality, and overall quality of our facility.

Failing to make these necessary improvements could hinder our ability to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our participants, volunteers, and community members. Investing in the maintenance and upkeep of our facility not only ensures its longevity and sustainability, but also demonstrates our commitment to delivering a high standard of service and our dedication to continuously improving and enhancing our operations.

Currently, we are seeking $35,000 to:

Upgrade our HVAC system, as it is broken and cannot be repaired due to its age
Replace our expired AED
Add exterior building signs, a safety requirement for First Responders and an important feature for participants, volunteers, and donors
Upgrade interior emergency exit lighting, which is outdated
Install a modernized smoke detector system to improve our emergency response capabilities
Replace our pull-down attic steps with a staircase to improve safety in our attic storage space for donations and supplies. Additionally, we would like to install a lift for larger items to reduce fall risks when handling larger storage boxes and totes.

As with all of our work, we will collaborate with local businesses and volunteers to keep expenses low and maximize the impact of our efforts in the community.
