Leaders of Literature is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing books, literacy, and confidence to children in the spaces they already know and trust — barbershops, schools, and community centers.

We believe every child deserves access to stories that inspire, affirm, and reflect their potential. Too many kids fall behind in reading simply because books aren’t always available, relatable, or within reach. We’re changing that by placing books directly into community spaces where children naturally gather.

This campaign supports our first phase of programming, including:

• Community reading corners in barbershops and youth spaces

• Children’s book donations and literacy kits

• Small-group reading sessions and book clubs

• Youth literacy workshops and family reading events
