Pads and tampons can't be bought with SNAP or WIC. When money runs short, people make do with toilet paper, rags or socks, and they miss school and work because of it. About 2 in 5 people who menstruate have struggled to afford the supplies they need.

Saturday, October 10 is National Period Action Day. We're marking it with the simplest ask we have: give $10 for 10/10.

Ten dollars covers a month of period supplies for one woman. Our goal is 250 months by Sunday night.

Members of our Board of Directors will match every gift dollar for dollar, up to $2,000. Your $10 covers two months instead of one.

BRAWS-Bringing Resources to Aid Women's Shelters delivers pads, tampons, new bras, and new underwear every month to shelters, schools, food pantries and community organizations across Northern Virginia. In 2024, that reached 42,512 people through 81 partner organizations. Everything we deliver is new, because dignity is the whole point.

Give $10 today. Make it monthly and you cover her every month of the year.
