When Black youth are mentored, they become limitless.

Mentorship leads to:

• Increased college enrollment and improve grades, school engagement, and attendance

• Improved mental health through higher confidence, self-esteem, and optimism

• Greater exposure to career opportunities and networking

Mentorship fosters a sense of pride in personal and cultural identity and offers a safe space for growth. Mentors help Black youth navigate educational and professional environments that may be hostile or exclusionary, reducing the risk of school discipline and promoting long-term success. Additionally, mentors offer emotional support, helping youth navigate systemic obstacles and societal pressures.

Join us for a night of celebration as we acknowledge the achievement of our seniors as they graduate from SOS and 10 years of Sons of Sophistication, Inc. making meaningful impact through mentorship. Proceeds from tickets and donations will help ensure Sons of Sophistication is able to provide a night that our boys will never forget.
