But we aren’t born with it. Character is learned, cultivated and shaped by our experiences. In a world where social pressures are always on, where calm and confidence are hard to access, and where perseverance is a required superpower every day, our kids are growing in new environments that are demanding more from them, and therefore more from us.

First Tee builds experiences that build character. Experiences are our greatest teacher. We believe in developing the ones that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next.

What is 100 Holes of Golf?

100 Holes of Golf is a golf marathon hosted by First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin. Players will play 100 holes from sun-up to sun-down on Thursday, August 25, at Hidden Glen at Bentdale Farms in Cedarburg or Saturday, September 10 at Hansen Park Golf Course in Wauwatosa. Each player commits to raising funds to support the mission of First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin, to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

Why support 100 Holes of Golf?

Our youth development program is like no other. As we continue to expand our programming throughout our ten-county region (Fond du Lac, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha), we need additional funds so we equip kids who may not otherwise have access to the game of golf with the confidence, integrity, respect, and perseverance the game inherently promotes. First Tee programming allows kids to accomplish their dreams, thrive socially, excel academically and athletically, and become productive members of their families and society with integrity, strong values and commitment to community. Funds raised through the 100 Holes of Golf support additional green-grass program locations, equipment and training for the First Tee School Program at elementary and middle schools and the First Tee Community Program at local youth centers.

How do you contribute?

To make an individual contribution on behalf of a specific player, select a donation amount or enter your own amount on their fundraiser page and complete the remaining transaction steps.

To make an offline contribution, please mail a check payable to First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin to the following address and include the name of the player or team you are supporting on the memo line of the check.
