Story
Opening
in March 1923 as the Capitol Theatre, the Ellen Eccles Theatre has now
been a staple of downtown Logan for a century! From vaudeville to film
to local groups, the theatre has hosted many memorable events and
people, including Abbott and Costello, John Philip Sousa, and the Marx
Brothers. Thanks to the renovation efforts during 1989-1993 and the
capital campaign in 2018, the Ellen Eccles Theatre continues to host
world-class entertainment for Cache Valley.
For our 100th anniversary, we have a new campaign to help the theatre continue to serve the artists and patrons that pass through its walls.
Those
who donate $100 for this campaign will receive our brand new Ellen
Eccles Theatre ornament as a thank you. This offer is limited to the
first 100 people.
