Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. For me, it's about celebrating the birth of our Savior, spending time with family, and yes, giving gifts. My daughter's first Christmas was tough for me. I wanted to give my baby the world, but as a single parent and college student, I couldn't afford much of anything. Thankfully, I had the love and support of family and friends to help me. 20 plus years later, few things bring me more joy on Christmas than spending time with family and seeing my child's face light up while opening gifts. This is why Twelve Days means so much to me...I know what it's like to want to see that joy on your child's face and having no idea how that's going to happen.
Every year since 2016, I get to experience a tremendous amount of joy by seeing young faces light up as a result of our hard work and giving. But, we also bring joy to parents who want to give their children the world, and have no idea how it will happen.
I am proud to be part of an organization that will do the work to see that families in our communities won't go without. I am grateful to you for donations that help us make that happen!
