Dorcas Destiny International High School Scholarships!!

In Kenya, East Africa, children aren’t automatically granted free education through grade 12. Property tax dollars don’t cover these costs, making high school especially difficult to afford. While schooling is relatively accessible before grade 9 (Form 1), expenses skyrocket for students who wish to continue.

A high school education requires much more than just tuition—many schools are boarding institutions, meaning students also need funding for room and board. Additionally, families must cover costs for school uniforms, educational supplies, personal items, hygiene essentials, and more.

Dorcas Destiny International proudly partners with Amazing Grace BAWO Foundation to provide full high school scholarships for students in need. Since 2021, we’ve collaborated with Amazing Grace BAWO Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting widows, orphans, and individuals with disabilities. Through their rigorous screening process, they thoroughly vet each student and family before referring them to us. As a result, every student we sponsor is either an orphan or the child of a widow.

Kenyan schools operate on a three-term system, with an average annual cost of around $450 per student. When you provide a scholarship, you’ll receive personalized details about your specific student and their school.
