➡️ The main reason we make so many cookies is because they offer so much valuable practice for our students? A recipe is a task list, plus there is math, reading, following directions, use of the small appliances, scales, and convection oven. So much valuable practice! It costs about $500 per month to keep up with all this baking practice! And about $3000 per month to cover the cost of all of our groceries and ingredients to make our delicious, in-house offerings.

➡️ Our Apprenticeship program was a first for the state of Michigan? The Cook Registered Apprenticeship program is a partnership with Torch 180, MCTI, the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity to provide an "Earn and Learn" model. Torch 180 pays our apprentices approximately $900 per month for their hourly service during their program.
