Launching in Fall 2026, the Academy for Innovation in Medicine (AIM) is a tuition-free public STEMM middle and high school that prepares Atlanta’s students for meaningful, living-wage healthcare careers through hands-on learning, dual enrollment, and work-based training.

Our Vision: From Middle School to Medical School

At AIM, students don’t just earn a diploma — they build a foundation for a lifelong healthcare career.

Beginning in middle school, students explore health sciences through real-world labs, anatomy modules, and problem-based learning. As they progress, they move into clinical simulations, mentorships with healthcare professionals, and dual enrollment courses through a local college. By graduation, AIM students will hold industry certifications and an associate degree — debt-free and ready to step confidently into the healthcare field.

But the journey doesn’t stop there.

AIM’s unique model sets students up for success beyond high school — whether they pursue immediate employment in healthcare, advanced technical training, college-level studies in nursing, public health, or biomedical sciences, or even the path toward medical school. Every student will receive individualized academic and career advising, immersive experiences in real healthcare settings, and the hands-on, rigorous preparation needed to excel at the next level.
