In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am organizing a charity happy hour in which 100% of all donations, pink wristbands, and koozie sales will be donated to Breast Care of Washington DC. This is a local organization whose mission is to reduce breast cancer mortality in the DC area by promoting access to breast cancer screening, diagnostics, and treatment to all women regardless of their ability to pay. This organization was specifically designed to overcome current barriers that prevent low-income, medically underserved men and women from receiving high-quality breast care.

Breast cancer is a disease that my family is way too familiar with, so I am always inspired to raise awareness (& money - click the button in the top right). With every donation, wristband and koozie sold, I will think of my mom, my aunts, those who have lost the battle, those we can save with early detection, and those who fight fearlessly every day! xx
