The Ellen Salome Memorial Fund is raising funds to send kids to theater camps!

This is the first holiday season that leaves an empty spot among family and friends of a teenager who was gifted life with a heart transplant in 2019. The Ellen Salome Memorial Fund gifts opportunities to children and teenagers to experience joy through activities, classes, and youth outreach. We’re raising $5,000 to send kids to camp this summer. Theater camps will bring lifelong memories, friendships and extraordinary joy through song, dance, and acting.

Ellen’s was a heart transplant warrior gifted with life when she was 9 years old. Ellen did not give up. She had the very best hugs and contagious smile. She lived her very best life as a mentor for many, inspiring hope and confidence. She loved the stage, theater, music and dance. She was an All-American Cheer Athlete, and a freshman student council member when she died of cardiac arrest just before her 16th birthday. Ellen had plans to mentor children at a local theater summer camp but sadly, that was not possible.

Each $30 donation helps us reach our goal to send 5 children who otherwise can’t afford theater camp and experience something amazing! Your support this season turns grief into joy, allows the legacy of Ellen Salome to live on, honors her heart donor and makes magical memories possible!
