About CLS

For 40 years, Community Legal Services (CLS) has been a place where Maryland families find support, stability, and a fair chance at justice. Our team stands with people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

In FY25, CLS helped over 13,000 Marylanders, including 5,121 tenants working to avoid eviction and more than 1,000 survivors seeking protection from domestic violence. Each person came to us with a real problem and left with someone in their corner.

As we celebrate our 12 Days of Justice campaign, your support keeps this work moving. When you give, you help families stay housed, help survivors stay safe, and help neighbors find a path forward.
