Story
If you are a sports enthusiast, then you probably spent some time this summer watching the summer Olympics in Tokyo. There’s nothing more thrilling than watching trained competitors giving their all in order to bring home the gold.
Well, we feel the same way about Stratford’s Day of Giving. For 36 hours on September 21 and 22, we will host our fourth annual event to raise critical annual giving funds for our school.
Last year, we set an ambitious goal of $125,000 and you, our supporters, went above and beyond by reaching our goal early on the second day and accepting a $20,000 challenge to get us to an impressive $172,299.
This year, we’ve raised the bar even higher and set our goal at $140,000. Just as competing in the Olympics takes skill, dedication, and determination, so will reaching our Day of Giving goal. A great deal of preparation goes into Day of Giving. We want to give you a behind the scenes look at how we, at Stratford, are taking on this challenge of raising $140,000 in 36 hours.
Mark your calendars for September 21 and 22 and join us as we take that spirit of competition to heart and “Go for the Gold!”
