25 in 25: Keep the Music Alive!

At Elm City Community Music, we believe music is for everyone — Your gift, big or small, helps provide scholarships, maintain quality instruction, and create more joyful music-making opportunities in the greater Waterville area.

Since we started our pilot program in 2023, we’ve served over 300 music learners ages 3 to 83, in 20+ towns across central Maine.

We were thrilled to open our new location at the Playhouse at Waterville Station in January, which allowed us to offer more classes, lesson times, and serve more students. But we’re already at capacity.

Thanks to a transformative gift of $31K from the Kennebec Valley Arts Association, we have installed three additional portable studios to meet the growing need for lesson space. We need to sustain this growth with administrative support and continued scholarship funding.

Help us double the impact of our success in 2025 and sustain Elm City Music for our students, our faculty, and our community.

Our Impact

  • Over 300 students served annually, ages 3 to 83

  • Reaching 20+ towns in central Maine

  • Thousands of dollars in financial aid provided

  • 10+ community concerts and outreach events each year
