Every year approximately 600 youth age out of foster care in Broward County. Many of these youth were ripped from their families at a young age and never received the support they needed. Causing them to be unprepared for the day they lose foster care services. As a result, many fall victim to the many statistics that are stacked against them like gun violence and teen pregnancy.

But we can change that! With your support, we can provide 10 youths with housing, mental health support, and the crucial life/job skills they need for stability. Your donation will ensure these young adults have the support required to have an equal shot at a normal life.

Meet our Founder

Hi! My name is Kimmoy Fung, the founder of ElevateHer Women's Network. At the age of 14, I became a ward of the state. During my time in the system, I constantly hopped from foster home to group homes. Finally, when I turned 16, I was taken to an all-girls independent living home called Hope House. At this home, I was encouraged to cook, work, and prepare for my turn to age out. Unfortunately, everyone's story is not the same. Many girls I had met in the system didn't get the opportunity to go to a home like Hope House. This meant aging out without any guidance in most situations. From that day, I vowed to return for those girls who didn't get my opportunities and help them create an opportunity of their own. Will you help me provide the support and resources these young ladies desperately need?
