Nacha Mendez, the undisputed queen of Latin World Music in the City Different, comes to Tumbleroot with her 9-piece Salsa band for ONE NIGHT ONLY!!!
Proceeds benefit the Nacha Mendez Music Scholarship for Young Girls of Color in New Mexico.
Her first show with a Salsa ensemble in over 10 years, dance the night away to New York, Cuban and Colombian Salsa classics with Nacha Mendez y Sus Salseros Santasticos! Los Santasticos feature some of Northern New Mexico’s finest in Latin music— Rafael Herrera (vocals), Carla Kountoupes (violin), Andy Kingston (piano), Tanya Nunez (upright bass), Fred Simpson (conga) and JJ Oviedo (percussion), Eliana O’Brien, Robert Beasley and Nathan Kingston (horns).
DJ Luz Skylarker will get the dancing started with salsa favorites.
