Beginning at 6:00 pm Eastern, we’ll celebrate the brightest and best of D.C.’s graduating high school class with heavy hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about our student recipients and the incredible work they’ve done in their homes, schools, and communities right here in Washington, D.C. The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library is located at: 901 G St NW, Washington, D.C., 20001. The reception will occur in the Fifth Floor Event Space at the library. The event space includes a large rooftop terrace, and guests can utilize the event space to the fullest extent as weather permits. Please plan accordingly. The library is just a few blocks from the Metro Center Metro Station (Blue, Orange, Red, and Silver lines) and the Gallery Place Metro Station (Green, Red, and Yellow lines). The S2, S9, X2, and 54 bus routes will take attendees to the nearest bus stations. Nearby parking can be found at 970 G Pl NW, the Atlantic Building on 950 F St NW, and at impark lot #110 at 701 8th St NW. We encourage attendees to reserve parking before the event by calling any of the garages above or making an online parking reservation. Attendees are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation when possible to lessen their carbon footprint.
