-Prescribed Fire and Prescribed Fire Exchanges: Our operations team are skilled and experienced wildland and prescribed fire practitioners dedicated to increasing the pace and scale of prescribed fire.
-Gulf Corps Project with The Nature Conservancy: The Ember Alliance and the National Coordinating Working Group for Wildland Firefighter and Chainsaws training for the overall Gulf Corps project, Providing support to local conservation corps that recruit young adults from their communities.
-WOLF Sanctuary & DECA Colorado Student Group: Teaming up with DECA to work with The Ember Alliance to continue our Fuel Reduction and Timber Stand Improvement around the WOLF Sanctuary’s new home located north of Fort Collins.
-Borderland Fire Initiative: Reduce social vulnerability in Underrepresented and vulnerable communities to be a priority in fire mitigation and fuel treatment. The Ember Alliance has developed a Borderland Fire Initiative using prescribed burns and working on various fire risk initiatives around watersheds in the vulnerable communities of Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.
