Dear TFH Family,

It is amazing what God has done in the last 5 years through The Father's House. Our ministry has grown from 15-20 adult women in a 4 bedroom brick home with 3 bathrooms to 26 adult women in 13 bedroom, 15 bathroom facility. God has used this ministry to help over one hundred ladies find recovery, get saved, be baptized and learn to live for Jesus Christ!

We are launching a new initiative called BUILDING UP. This initiative is about creating a secure home for the women we serve, making much needed upgrades and expanding our reach into the community.

Please pray about how God would like to use you and your family to reach thousands of women so they do not have to become just another statistic.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

We are currently renting our beautiful facility for $4,000.00 monthly and our hearts desire is to be able to own our facility in order to give our residents the security of housing that they deserve. The facility is getting older and it needs some much needed, but very costly upgrades and repairs.

A New Roof
Laundry Room Expansion
A Classroom/Life Center

These upgrades and repairs will improve the quality of life for our residents and our facility in very vast ways.Over the last several years we have dealt with leaks due to the deteriorating roof. This is a large shingled roof and the current estimate to replace is $36,000. The current laundry room has one washer and one dryer hook-up. ( 1 washer- 1 dryer= 26 Residents 😬. Lastly, We are endeavoring to expand our facility and create a Life center that will include a Classroom, Exercise Room/ Gym and Counseling offices. All classes at the Father's House are currently held in the living room. This will allow our residents a quite private space to have counseling sessions, take a test for school or meet with case workers or attorney's.

These are upgrades that just does not make sense for us to make at this time due to not owning the property.

BUILDING UP GOAL

Our initial Goal was $50,000 in order to put the down payment on our facility. A huge thanks to several donors, we have currently raised $25,000. With half of the money pledged we are confident that with the amazing community and support that we have that we can reach our goal in 2024.
