The AMOR Network recognizes the crisis at the border is affecting all of our communities in unique ways. At this moment we want to show up for folks from the Texas border to DC in dealing with this surge in need. Here in Rhode Island our community has been working to shut down our local detention center and support folks in our community impacted by the system. We know that even if we do our own local organizing against the broken immigration system, the national system will still be a major issue. We hope to stand in solidarity with the broader immigrant community by doing what we can to support this campaign.
