Breezy Parks was founded in the loving memory of Brianna "Breezy" Lindsey Espeseth. Breezy, like many children, cherished playtime at her local park with her sisters. Inspired by Breezy's joyful spirit, Breezy Parks works aims to create safe and fun parks for all children in our community. By renovating and revitalizing these green spaces, we hope to honor Breezy's memory while fostering healthy play and strong communities.
Our beautiful ‘Breezy Bear’ arrived on this earth on February 2, 2020. As the youngest of 3 sisters, she loved racing across the playground trying to keep up with her big sisters. She giggled when you pushed her on a swing and loved going down slides, big or small, alone or on your lap. Brianna was an exceptionally kind and caring person, excellent climber, and never found a playground she didn't love.
Bri left us way too soon on February 25, 2023, after a brief battle with Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome (STSS) at the age of 3. STSS is a rare condition manifesting from Strep Throat, very uncommon in children, and hard to diagnose. Brianna was in a pediatrician’s office 8 hours before her death and no one suspected what was about to happen only a few hours later.
Bri is remembered for her bear hugs, kind heart and her sweet, independent spirit. She loved her family dearly and we love her.
