Authors Against Book Bans

Authors Against Book Bans is a national coalition of writers, illustrators, and book creators that fights censorship and defends the freedom to read. We work with communities and educators to keep diverse stories on library and classroom shelves.

This campaign is fiscally sponsored by the EveryLibrary Institute, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Donations are received by EveryLibrary Institute and restricted to Authors Against Book Bans, with use directed by AABB’s board. Gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
