Join us for Play it Forward, a joyful, adults-only night of lawn games, mini-sport challenges, great food, and an open bar—all in support of a powerful mission: helping underserved kids grow through sport, play, and social-emotional learning.

On Wednesday, August 27th at The Pond House in Hartford, we’re turning back the clock for a purpose-driven play night.

You’ll enjoy a variety of fun, field day-style games - think backyard barbecue meets 2-4-1 sport sampling camp - plus great food, signature cocktails, raffle prizes, and a short program celebrating the impact of 2-4-1!

We will also be sharing a special proclamation from the Mayor of Hartford and we'll be honoring the first ever recipient of the 2-4-1 Play it Forward Legacy Award — Brian Gallagher! See details below!

Your ticket helps expand free sport sampling programs, grow our youth leadership pipeline (PLPs), and ensure all kids—regardless of zip code—have the chance to play, lead, and thrive.

The 2-4-1 Play It Forward Legacy Award
This new annual honor celebrates leaders who break down barriers to play and open doors for kids to try multiple sports. Future recipients may be coaches, educators, nonprofit leaders, or community champions who embody our belief that Life’s 2 Short 4 Just 1 Sport. We’re proud to present the inaugural award to Brian Gallagher for his decades of service and lasting impact on Hartford’s youth.
