Story
A new year has never been more meaningful than 2021. After a tough 2020 for everyone, we want nothing more than to celebrate with our friends and family at our annual Super Bash event in February. Unfortunately, and as expected, we will have to cancel due to COVID-19.
2021 would have been our 18th Annual Super Bash. A single event, 18 years ago that was created to help a friend, and that has grown into an annual event that raises funds to help families throughout the county fighting with severe illnesses and financial struggle. Annually we welcome more than 400 friends and supporters to join us and enjoy a night of football and fun, while raising necessary funds for Friend In Need.
And while we are not able to gather and celebrate together this year, I ask that you please continue your support for our organization. We continue to assist a number of local friends with bills including insurance, hospital expenses, utilities, mortgages and more, as they fight alongside their families with severe illnesses and tragedy. Your generous support is crucial at this time, as our community needs us now, more than ever.
I have included a sponsorship and donation form with this request. We plan to host an online auction February 5-8, which will include items from what normally would be our chance auction table at The Princeton. Participants will be able to bid online and winners will be drawn/announced on Monday, Feb. 8.
In addition, our generous sponsors will be featured on our website at www.friendinneednj.org as well as highlighted through our social media, dedicated emails and our annual Thank You advertisement in the Spring edition of 7 Mile Times. And of course, our annual sweatshirt and sponsor gifts!
Your generosity during this difficult time is truly appreciated. Thank you for supporting Friend In Need and our mission to assist as many families as possible throughout Cape May County, and to continue to ‘never say no’ to those in need within our community.
