I am joining YLA’s 6K walk on June 6th, in memory of my grandparents, Jean and Eugen Gluck, z”l. My grandparents survived the unimaginable tragedies of the Holocaust. They lost their homes, their freedom, and most importantly, their loved ones. However, against all odds, they did not lose their faith. After the war, my grandparents found one another and committed themselves to a life of family, community, and acts of loving-kindness. I miss them tremendously every day, but their legacy continues to guide me in my daily life.
