Help Us Celebrate Our 10th Anniversary!

Join us for our 2022 Love Our Libraries Author Luncheon featuring Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Help us to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and everything our wonderful library system does to support our community.

Our event will feature a conversation with Dr. Gates, an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, cultural critic, journalist, author or co-author of 25 books and 23 documentary films.

This sellout event will be held at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium on February 3, 2022. This celebration is made possible by our presenting sponsor, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, and by the generosity of all of our community partners.

PLEASE NOTE: Seating on the main floor of the Municipal Auditorium has been sold out. Remaining seats are available at high top tables of four, located in the auditorium’s mezzanine, which is accessible by a short staircase.

The safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority. Ticket sales are final and are considered a donation to the organization if public health conditions at the time don’t allow for an in-person event, or if a guest chooses not to attend. For more information, please call 941-404-3139.
