Every year we are required to renew our registration with Boy Scouts of America. This process is called rechartering. Rechartering requires each member to pay national and council fees. This is also when you can choose to subscribe to the Scout Life (Boys’ Life) magazine. The troop also has annual dues that we collect to pay for maintenance costs of the troop including supplies used for teaching, merit badges, other awards, and other teaching materials. When we recharter and pay dues, we are paying our national and council fees for the next calendar year (January -December 2023). Our recharter is due in October this year. ALL RECHARTER FEES ARE DUE TO TROOPS 411 AND 8411 BY OCTOBER 26th! You may pay recharter fees and troop dues at the same time or separately. Troop dues are due BY JANUARY 25th. All fees may be paid through GiveButter or by writing a check to Troop 411.
