2023 Year-end Campaign
We would love to tell you about Amy. But before we share Amy's story, we want to take this opportunity and share ways you can support adult cancer patients who may feel they are alone while going through this life altering experience, especially as we end this challenging year.
As we near the end of 2023, you can help make a difference in the life of adult cancer patients like Amy by becoming a monthly donor.
You're only a click away.
Just click on the pink donate button, choose an amount and select the recurring donation option. For example, a monthly $10 gift will provide postage for a free care box to be sent to an adult cancer patient.
You'll help promote the well-being of an adult cancer patient in active treatment, about to start treatment or in follow up care.
Will you please send a year-end gift before midnight December 31st?
Amy was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer in December 2021 and started treatment shortly thereafter. In December 2022, scan results revealed lung nodules that had tripled in size as well as lymph nodes. After being told by her medical team there wasn't much they could do for her, Amy was determined not to give up because she was determined to be there for her family. So she decided to seek medical assistance from another cancer treatment center 3 1/2 from her home. The new medical team immediately scheduled further testing, but the results revealed a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer in the lungs (Stage 4). She was informed that her new plan of treatment would consist of chemotherapy and immunotherapy together.
Even though Amy had medical insurance, she still had a large out of pocket limit/deductible, had to travel 7 hours round trip for treatment and sometimes would have to stay overnight in the area of the treatment center. This life altering experience has changed Amy's life, especially her well-being. What hasn't changed in these challenging times is the need to support an adult cancer patient like Amy so that she will not feel alone in this journey.
And you can help an adult cancer patient by becoming a monthly supporter. Monthly giving is the best way to provide continuous support. Each month, you're investing in support programs that help an adult cancer patient like Amy know they are not alone.
Amy was very appreciative to have received a grant from Fight 4 Cure Inc this year because the funds helped her with treatment. "I cannot thank Fight 4 Cure Inc enough for caring and helping me in this time of need," Amy says.
All the support that Amy and other adult cancer patients receive every day--in spite of economic challenges--wouldn't be possible without you. Without your investment in the free support programs that have helped our adult cancer patients thrive, their well-being would be impacted.
But we hope you won't let that happen.
Your year-end gift will help promote the well-being of an adult cancer patient by letting them know they are not alone.
