Welcome to the 7th Annual “Donate the Dome” Fundraising initiative to benefit the children at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.

As all of you know, I have been an avid supporter of Blythedale Children’s Hospital for the past 6+ years. Blythedale has improved the health and quality of life for children with complex medical illnesses and disabling conditions through superb multi-disciplinary care, teaching, research and advocacy programs. Blythedale is the only specialty children’s hospital in New York State that provides the highest level of multi-disciplinary medical care and rehabilitation for children with complex medical illnesses and conditions.

Proceeds from this event will once again benefit The Day Hospital. The Day Hospital is Blythedale's specialty outpatient program for children who live at home, but still require a level of medical and/or rehabilitative care that cannot be met by their school or a community outpatient program. Children admitted to the Program receive daily medical supervision and nursing care, comprehensive rehabilitation services (physical, occupational, speech and/or feeding therapy), and education through the Mt. Pleasant Blythedale Union Free School District (UFSD). Children under the age of five receive developmental support through the Early Childhood Center.

Blythedale Children’s Hospital provides a road to success for these children. Over the past 6 years of the "Donate the Dome" campaign and through the generosity of family, friends and colleagues, we have raised in excess of $117,000 for these children. I am truly humbled to be a part of this incredible institution.
