What is Giving Teal Tuesday? Giving Teal Tuesday is an annual 24-hour fundraising event uniting the Coastal Carolina University community. Alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends are all encouraged to participate. The aim is to rally Teal Nation to support CCU's mission by raising vital funds for student scholarships, academic and leadership programs, Chanticleer Athletics, and more!
When is Giving Teal Tuesday? Giving Teal Tuesday will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Where does the money go? Funds raised during Giving Teal Tuesday are channeled to various impactful initiatives within the university. The CCU Office for Advancement and Alumni Engagement ensures that your donations are allocated appropriately, working closely with the Coastal Educational Foundation, our nonprofit entity since 1954.
How can I give? It's simple! Just hit the "Donate" button on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, until 11:59 p.m. EST. You can make a gift to support your specific college or choose from three additional funds. After donating, share your experience on social media and challenge your friends to join you in giving.

Will my donation renew my CCU Alumni Membership? Absolutely! Your gift of $35 or more qualifies you for CCU Alumni Membership, extending it for another year automatically. Expect to receive your new alumni membership card within approximately two weeks.
Is my Giving Teal Tuesday gift tax-deductible? Yes, indeed! You'll receive a gift receipt for tax purposes immediately after making your donation. Remember to consult your tax advisor for personalized advice regarding your tax situation.
