A record number of current and future college students applied to receive My Hometown Heroes scholarships for the 2024/2025 school year. Any young adult who has applied for a My Hometown Heroes scholarship and is a survivor of cancer is a Champion in our book.

The young adult survivor population is anyone between the ages of 15 and 39 years old. The average student debt upon college graduation is over $50,000. We wish we could award each Champion with a scholarship grant, but funds are limited.

This is where you come in.

Fundraising pages have been created for our 2024 Champions. Should you make a donation to a Champion, 80% will be be awarded directly to that Champion's educational pursuits. The remaining 20% will support scholarships for other Champions. Please note that the funds contributed do not influence the scholarship selections, but they are added to scholarship amounts awarded by My Hometown Heroes.
