Support CARE STL This Giving Tuesday!
Giving Tuesday is just around the corner, and we need your help to make a difference! Your generous support will fund our spay and neuter program and Emergency Medical Fund.
Today, CARE STL has taken in 2,574 animals this year, and 99.9% were not spayed or neutered upon arrival. It is mandatory that all animals that enter our care be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted into loving homes.
The average cost of spaying and neutering is $75 per animal, and we still have over 450 animals that need to be fixed, which will cost an estimated $33,750. Recognizing the importance of this issue, we are allocating funds raised this Giving Tuesday to our Spay and neuter program. These surgeries are essential to prevent overpopulation and improve the health and well-being of the animals in our care.
We also take in at least 5 to 10 medical emergencies weekly. Our in-house vet clinic is always busy providing critical care for these injured animals, many of whom are victims of gunshot wounds and other unimaginable medical emergencies. Sometimes, our Emergency Medical Fund is used to help families who cannot afford care for their pets. This fund is vital in providing necessary medical treatments and ensuring that pets can stay with their families, preventing them from being surrendered to the shelter.
By supporting CARE STL this Giving Tuesday, you are helping us take a significant step toward a future where every animal can find a safe and loving home. Your donation, no matter the size, will impact the lives of countless animals and the community.
Together, we can make a difference. Please consider donating and spreading the word about our mission. Thank you for your continued support! Please check the comments below on how to donate. Thank you for being our lifesaving partner.
