The St. John Vianney Catholic School Holiday Faire, an annual SJV tradition, is excited is back for the 2024 holiday season!

For over 55 years, the Holiday Faire has been an exciting and fun-filled community celebration. This event is also one of the main fundraisers for the school, as well as a wonderful holiday shopping event for all who attend. It's a wonderful opportunity for many talented, innovative artisans and small businesses to showcase their products.

The Holiday Faire is a 3-day community event. There will be members from the Holiday Faire Committee present each day to ensure the success of this event and have activities & events planned throughout the duration of the Holiday Faire to drive traffic to this event. We also have an advertisement campaign in place to strategically promote locally and through our social media channels to help increase attendance.

2024 HOLIDAY FAIRE DATES

Friday, December 6, 2024 – 10am to 2pm (Student Shopping)
Friday, December 6, 2024 – 10am to 7pm (Open to the General Public)
Saturday, December 7, 2024 – 11am to 7pm (Open to the General Public)
Sunday, December 8, 2024 – 10am to 3pm (Open to the General Public)

LOAD IN/LOAD OUT TIME: Load in and load out date/time information will be sent prior to Holiday Faire.

LOCATION: The Holiday Faire will be held in the St. John Vianney Community Center. It is located at 4602 Hyland Avenue in San Jose, California.

THE NITTY GRITTY DETAILS

*All exhibitors will be located inside of the St. John Vianney Community Center gym space.

VENDOR SPACES: Vendors will be occupying designated booth spaces, equpped with either a 6ft. or 8ft.* long tables (selection available below) with one (1) chair.
VENDOR FEES: Standard ($100 for 6ft table) and Premium ($125 for 8ft table) There is a maximum of 2 tables per vendor that can be reserved. *Limited spots for 8ft Tables. Further details will be made available in vendor contract and information once accepted
OPTIONAL VENDOR FEE: Listing in the 2024 Holiday Faire Gift Guide is an additional $25.00 (please see details below)
DONATION: We ask for a raffle basket donation prior to the start of the event or 10% of sales donation to St. John Vianney Catholic School at completion of event.
APPLICATION PROCESS: You will be notified via email as quickly as decisions are made.
PAYMENTS: Once you are accepted, you will be given one week (7 calendar days) to pay the vendor fee online.The payment link will be included with your acceptance letter.
ENTRY & DEPARTURE: Vendors must be in their booths 15 minutes prior to opening hour and until closing hours. Early tear-down may result in your exclusion from future SJV Holiday Faire events.
BOOTH ATTENDANCE: Vendors should remain in their booth space at all time during operating hours and cannot close or leave early. If you need a restroom break, a member of the Holiday Faire Committee will provide support by being in your booth while you take the restroom break.
STAY WITHIN BOOTH SPACE: Signs or any other part of your displays may not extend outside your designated space.
BOOTH SIGNS will not be provided. Vendors will provide as part of your booth set up, as needed.
SMELLS & SOUNDS: Exhibitors should be mindful of smells and sounds that might adversely affect surrounding booths. Music will be provided overhead and throughout the event.
CHECKOUT: Vendors are responsible for self-checkout with customers and keeping track of daily sales.
SECURITY: The Holiday Faire IS NOT responsible in any way for loss or damage to participant’s property. Exhibitors are responsible for their own property and booth space. The doors of the community center will be locked until operating hours (when open to the public).
MARKETING: Vendors will have access to printable marketing materials (downloadable flyers and graphics for social media postings) to promote to customers/friends & family. We will be distributing a Holiday Faire Gift Guide to all attendees.
CA STATE/SANTA CLARA COUNTY SALES TAX must be charged on all sales. Exhibitors are solely responsible for collecting, reporting, and paying all sales taxes collected to the Franchise Tax Board. More information can be found https://dor.sc.gov/tax/sales
