Serve it up for Seniors! Join the Inaugural Lawrence Lions Alumni Association Pickleball Tournament

Calling all paddle-wielding Lions and pickleball enthusiasts! It's time to rally for a good cause while showcasing your dink skills at the Inaugural Lawrence Lions Alumni Association Pickleball Tournament, presented in partnership with Pickleball Lawrence and Genesis Health Club South. Join us, as we take over to Genesis Health Club South for a day of friendly competition and fundraising for a roar-some purpose.

This open-to-all tournament isn't just about dominating the court – it's about empowering the next generation of Chesty Lion Grads! (But, don't worry - you don't have to be a Chesty Lion grad to participate!) All proceeds will go towards funding scholarships for deserving graduating seniors from Lawrence High School. That's right, every lob, volley, and drop shot you land contributes to brighter futures for deserving students.

Tournament details:

Players can register to play men's doubles, women's doubles, and/or mixed doubles. There are five team divisions based on skill ranking.
- Men’s Doubles (3.5 and above) - 8:00 PM Start / 7:30 PM Warm-up
- Men’s Doubles (3.4 and below) - 5:00 PM Start / 4:30 PM Warm-up
- Women’s Doubles (3.5 and above) - 8:00 AM Start / 7:30 AM Warm-up
- Women’s Doubles (3.4 and below) - 11:00 AM Start / 10:30 AM Warm-up
- Mixed Doubles (all skill levels) - 2:00 PM Start / 1:30 PM Warm-up
Registration fee $60 per person for one division and $70 to register for two divisions.
Each player should register themselves and note their teammate.
Tournament play starts at 8:00a.m. at Genesis Health Club South. Play will run continuously until all games are completed. Each division will be emailed their exact start time prior to the tournament.
Concessions will be available.
The number of games played is subject to change and will depend on the number of teams that register per division. Exact details for brackets and timing will be emailed prior to the tournament.
As a charity tournament, we are unable to issue refunds for any reason. If you are unable to play after registering, we thank you for your donation.

Pickleball Precision Challenge:

Think you can hit exact marks? Enter the Pickleball Precision Challenge. Buckets will be set around the kitchen. For only $10, see how many buckets you can land. The player who lands the most buckets will win half the challenge registration fees. (If there is a tie, the players who tied will be entered into a drawing for the cash prize.)
