I became a registered Maine Guide because of the memories and experiences I had as a young outdoorsman. Being brought up in the woods of Maine helped make me into the person I am today. As a young outdoorsman, I was always excited for the alarm to go off early in the morning to go sit in the woods, hear the first song of a bird and nature coming to life, hearing the snapping and rustling of leaves as an 8 point buck steps out in front of you, the feeling of adrenaline, and much more. Even though this was 20 years ago, it still feels like it was just yesterday. My goal for this fundraiser is to give the same experiences to the young youth hunters and the future outdoorsmen like myself. I want to educate and help young hunters build respect for the outdoors and what it has to offer. I am asking for your help in making these goals as a reality for the youth in Maine
