My name is Evan Markley and I am currently the Aquatics Coordinator at the Parkview Family YMCA. The Y has impacted my life at every level. I took swim lessons at my local Y, was a yearly Y camp kid, and played sports at the Y every week as a kid. As an only child, the Y was a huge outlet for me socially and helped me develop my passion for sports. I have taught homeschool swim and gym as well as swim lessons, so I have seen the impact on the youth in my community. I have also been a YMCA lifeguard for many years and know how much the pool means to people in the community. I honestly do not know where I would be without the Y.
