2024 Redside Foundation Fall Fundraiser

As we approach the end of a busy summer season of guiding, we're reaching out to ask for your support in our Fall Fundraiser beginning September 23rd. This year, more than ever, our guides need your help.

In 2023 we referred 108 guides to counseling services, covering up to 8 sessions per person, sometimes more. The average operating cost of providing this support was $1,555 per guide, a necessary investment in their health & well-being.

Thanks to donors like you, we also awarded 5 academic scholarships and 6 professional development grants, totaling $11,000. These funds are crucial in helping our guides build bright futures.

Our Helpline has seen a significant increase in calls this year, and we expect to surpass last year’s numbers by a considerable margin. The demand for our services is growing, particularly as Middle Fork guides face unprecedented challenges due to recent river changes. Many guides are working back-to-back trips with no days off, increasing the physical and mental strain. Your donation will directly impact the lives of these dedicated professionals, ensuring they receive the support they need.
