This year, we are very excited to uplift the following Champions of Justice:

Anne Clark of Vladeck, Raskin & Clark, P.C. - Anne is a celebrated employment lawyer whose work has protected and advanced workers' rights for years. She works tirelessly representing clients in a wide variety of employment and discrimination cases involving race, gender, harassment, pregnancy, age, disability, sexual orientation, and identity. Anne has been a crucial leader for Brandworkers as our Board Chair and for food worker justice at large, we are incredibly grateful for her contribution to our community.

Dr. Kate Bronfenbrenner of Cornell University - Kate Bronfenbrenner is the Director of Labor Education Research and a Senior Lecturer at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and the Co-Director of the Worker Empowerment Research Project (WERN). Her work has been a guiding light to Brandworkers for many years, her contribution to the field of union organizing and strategizing is unmatched.

Hannah Lopez of the protectESSTA Campaign - Hannah Lopez is a restaurant worker and organizer in New York City. She’s worked at Tao Group restaurants for 10 years and is currently fighting for the protection of New York City Sick Leave Laws (ESSTA). She cares deeply about her coworkers and has done everything from picking up shifts for coworkers’ emergencies to securing legal help for a coworker taken from her restaurant by bounty hunters working for ICE. We are honored to have worked with her in this fight, and are equally as honored to have her as a Champion of Justice this year.
