Back 2 School Bash 2025

Please join the Northwest Montana United Way as we prepare the next generation at our annual Back 2 School Bash

Our theme this year is The Next Chapter

Our Flathead Valley school supply and Back to School event will be held on

Saturday, August 2, 2025

We start at 10 am and go until approximately 1 pm, or when the supplies are gone.

Located at the Gateway Community Center

Children receiving supplies MUST be present and accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.

For students with financial need, entering Kindergarten through High School, enrolled in local elementary, middle and high schools, including homeschools.

By doing what we do, we allow every child who comes to get a backpack and most of the school supplies that they will need, to start out a new school year with dignity and preparedness. No child's education should suffer due to lack of supplies.

Our event is made to be a fun day - Hair cuts, Games, Food, and prizes make it a day of laughter and joy, as well as a great day of financial relief for the parents who come. Knowing that their child is prepared for school lifts such a weight off of everyone's shoulders. 

It is said that it takes a tribe to raise a child… Nothing holds more true to that than helping a child go to school fully prepared to learn.

Times and locations of distributions in Lincoln, Lake and Sanders counties will be determined as funds available to provide supplies in those areas,

Please note:  the Give Butter "tip" is optional and does not come to the United Way.  The credit card processing fee is also optional but DOES offset our expenses.
