Receiving a scholarship from My Hometown Heroes would mean I am closer to reaching my goals of becoming a surgeon that not only wants to provide the best care possible for the patients but also be able to be there for them mentally and emotionally.  I would be able to continue furthering my education and experiences in the medical field while gaining as much knowledge as possible for the career path that I am so invested in.  This scholarship would also allow me to not only educate myself but prepare myself to educate others in the field with me.  I am an open book and want to share all that I will know and learn all while I am a sponge at the same time trying to soak up as much information and data as I can to help myself and others.
