Operation Ornaments delivers connection to families rebuilding after disasters, to deployed service members far from home, and to seniors who might otherwise be overlooked. Each ornament becomes a reminder: you are not forgotten. Your generosity brightens the holidays—it restores hope, lifts spirits, and proves that someone truly cares.

What an amazing year! In 2025, we collected about 90,000 ornaments and served 5,100 families and 11,000 seniors. We supported disaster survivors in communities affected by Hurricane Helene across North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. In addition, we served people in:

New Mexico: Ruidoso and Dexter
Iowa: Greenfield
California: Altadena and Havilah
Oklahoma: multiple counties
Nebraska: Elkhorn
Texas: Temple
Florida: St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Perry
Georgia: Coffee County
Kentucky
Hawaii: Lahaina

Our Santa for Seniors partnership helped individuals in Washington, Oregon, California, Minnesota, and Alaska. It was a very busy and successful year! We will continue to serve those areas in 2026.

Because ornament donations grew so much, we were able to serve many more individuals and families. We also conducted a trial run, creating items appropriate for those celebrating Hanukkah. We recruited several Operation Ornaments crafters who stepped up and created amazing Hanukkah decor. Serving those celebrating Hanukkah will now be a permanent part of Operation Ornaments’ service.

Help us support those in need by making a tax-deductible donation. If your employer matches donations (including craft supplies, in many cases), please be sure to submit your request. Let us know if your company offers matching so we can add them to our public list. Remember, 100% of all donations are used to serve those suffering. Operation Ornamanets has no paid staff or board. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Should we raise more than the amount needed for Texas, your donation will be used to serve other areas.
