It's now my second year of crew and my teammates and I are working hard to prepare for the 2025 Spring racing season! Unfortunately, crew is a costly sport and we are asking for support in our team's fundraising effort.

Lake Braddock Crew is a competitive rowing program affiliated with Lake Braddock Secondary School. LB Crew, which involves more than 120 student-athletes, emphasizes hard work, discipline, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. THOUGH A VARSITY SPORT, THE TEAM RECEIVES NO SUPPORT FROM PUBLIC OR SCHOOL FUNDS. LB Crew Boosters raises funds to support the team, including coaching and equipment.

This year, we are raising money as part of the 2025 Erg-A-Thon event. What is an erg-a-thon? Our rowers will work together to row 1,000,000 meters on indoor rowing machines called ergs. This year’s event will take place on February 9th at Thomas Jefferson High School. In the spirit of camaraderie, we’ll be teaming up with some of our regular season competitors—TJ Crew and Mt. Vernon Crew—to row a combined 3,000,000 meters.
