Black podcasts make up about 1% of all podcasts, yet they continue to create culture, community, and impact far beyond their numbers.

In 2025, support from readers and donors helped the Black Podcasting Awards:

present 45 awards, including 14 in-person for the first time
issue 106 nominations
spotlight 735 newcomer podcasts
encourage thousands of Black podcasters to keep going through direct outreach and year-round visibility
