Proceeds from this event will support The Institute for Human Services’s programs for women and families living at the Kaaahi Shelter and Kahauiki Village as well as support BBGF’s scholarship and granting programs.

6:15 PM | Short program, and dinner to follow – a sumptuous buffet dinner featuring: premium mixed greens salad; flavorful tofu watercress salad; kalbi-style hibachi short ribs; roasted herb chicken; Chinese-style steamed fish; delectable seasonal vegetables; luscious mashed potatoes; steamed rice; and signature bread pudding

The Institute for Human Services (IHS) is Hawaiʻi's most comprehensive agency focused exclusively on ending and preventing homelessness. Founded in 1978 by Father Claude DuTeil as the "Peanut Butter Ministry," IHS partners with business, government, and community organizations to deliver our island's broadest continuum of services. These include outreach, emergency shelters, specialty shelters, daily meals, physical and mental health care, employment services, rent and housing assistance, case management, and long-term housing solutions. Today, IHS operates 'Imi Ola Piha, Hawaiʻi's first community-based medically assisted detox and stabilization center. The organization also manages a network of shelters and supportive housing across O‘ahu, including four emergency shelters, recovery homes, medical respite facilities, and innovative kauhale communities.

The Beta Beta Gamma Foundation (BBGF) is a nonprofit organization in the State of Hawai‘i established in August 1999 by alumnae members of Beta Beta Gamma Sorority of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa to support charitable, education, scientific and literary causes for the benefit of our Hawai‘i community. In over 20 years, BBG Foundation has proudly raised over $540,000 for University of Hawai‘i scholarships and for grants to more than 55 organizations and programs serving important community needs in Hawai‘i. Your support helps us to continue to fulfill our purpose of raising funds for charitable and education causes.
