2026 Campaign

Hello Supporters, of Sacramento Recovery House,

In previous years you stepped up to support Sacramento Recovery House during the Big Day of Giving, and it made a real difference.

Since then, our organization has grown significantly. We’ve expanded services, increased capacity, and are now actively responding to one of the most urgent crises we’ve seen in years - the rise in fentanyl-related overdoses and the growing complexity of co-occurring conditions.

The need is not slowing down. If anything, it’s accelerating.

This year, I’m asking you to consider supporting Sacramento Recovery House again, not just to maintain what we’ve built, but to help us meet what’s coming next.

Your donation directly supports:

  • Safe, stable housing for men and women in early recovery

  • Technology upgrades (tablets, computers) that allow clients to participate in treatment, education, and telehealth services

  • Expansion of women’s transitional housing, giving clients a critical next step after residential treatment

  • Basic essentials: clothing, linens, and household items for residents who often arrive with very little

  • Graduation support, including gift cards that help clients transition back into the community with dignity

  • Facility improvements and safety upgrades, including security systems and backup power for our women’s program

We are also in the process of developing a new 42-bed withdrawal management and residential treatment program, an investment in the future of recovery services in our community.

I invite you to visit our page at Sacrecovery.com to learn more about the work we’re doing, including a brief TED Talk where I share my own recovery journey and the philosophy behind our approach.

Thank you for your continued support and for being part of a community that believes people can and do change.

With appreciation,

Dr BJ Davis
