Help East Tennessee Honor Guards Stand Tall for Our Veterans

Our veterans answered the call to serve our country. Today, volunteer Honor Guard members across East Tennessee continue that tradition of service by showing up for their fellow veterans one final time.

They stand beside grieving families. They carry out time-honored military traditions. And they help ensure that the men and women who served our nation receive the dignity, respect, and final military honors they earned.

But these Honor Guard members are volunteers, and many of the expenses that come with their service—from uniforms and equipment to transportation and other essential resources—can fall on the guards themselves.

That’s where you can make a difference.

Your gift to the WATE's 2026 East Tennessee Day of Giving helps provide financial support to local Honor Guards so they can continue this important mission in communities throughout East Tennessee.

Whether you give $25, $50, $100 or more, every donation helps preserve a tradition that means so much to veterans and the families who love them.

This isn’t just a donation. It’s an investment in one of our nation’s most honored traditions.

Together, East Tennessee can stand behind those who stand for our veterans.

Donate today and help ensure the final salute is there when it’s needed.

Stand Tall. Honor All.
